The long awaited return of SEARCHERS OF SCRIPTURE is in sight!
We will meet after the morning Mass on THURSDAY, JULY 21st for the first time since COVID-19 derailed our weekly sessions. The room choice will be based on the size of the group.
For those who are new to the parish or have not heard about SEARCHERS OF SCRIPTURE, we read, discuss, and pray with the readings for the upcoming Sunday Mass in order to be better prepared for the wonder of each Eucharist.
This group of men and women has a long history at St. Brendan parish, having begun at the request of parishioners in 1985. However, members are not exclusively St. Brendan parishioners. All are welcome to join. Although our discussions are usually lively, no one is required to offer comments. Silence is respected. Pondering is encouraged. Confidentiality is maintained. Most of all, Wisdom is enjoyed.
As facilitator of the group, I eagerly await our new beginning….an ongoing journey into the unveiling of God’s word for us as we live it each day.
