Funeral Mass for Anne Rita Betti

For St. Brendan parishioners and all others wishing to attend, a Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Father Mark on Friday January 14, 2022 at 10:00 am here at St. Brendan’s Parish. Those attending this Mass are encouraged NOT to go to Newton Grove on January 18.

Father Mark thanks everyone for their kind expressions of sympathy.
ANNE RITA BETTI, age 94, of Parma Ohio, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday 28 December 2021. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on 27 July 1927, to the late Maria Libera (Nee Cristino) and Michael Tullio. She was the loving mother of Reverend Mark J. Betti of North Carolina and Michelle (Kent) Gardner of Dayton, Ohio, and proud grandmother of Maria (Paul) Niehaus and Nicole Gardner. Anne is survived by her dear sister Ann Marie (Jack, dec.) Riendeau, sister in-law Glenda Tullio and many caring nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Joseph Angelo Betti, her stepmother, Mary (nee Timperio), and the following siblings: Jean T. (Chuck, dec.) Bryson, Mike Tullio, Lucy (Michael Paponetti, dec., Frank Brodnik, dec., Frank Recko, dec.) Tullio Brodnik, John (Pat, dec.) Zaffle, Santo “Sonny” (Yolanda, dec.) Zaffo, and her pre-born first great-grandchild, Mary Niehaus. 
 
In addition to all the dear family and good friends who looked in on Anne, the family thanks Anne’s wonderful caregivers at Park Creek Center, and the entire parish community of St. Charles in Parma, OH, for tending to her spiritual needs. In lieu of flowers, donations and Mass Intentions in Anne’s memory may be sent to:

For clergy, religious and former parishioners from Fr. Mark’s previous parish assignments: A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Mark J. Betti on Tuesday 18 January 2022 at 11:00 AM, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Newton Grove, NC, with burial immediately to follow in the parish cemetery.
