Welcome Seminarians!

Dear Parishioners,
How did we become so blest as to host THREE seminarians? Last month the Vocation Director of our diocese, Fr. Phil Tighe, called me and asked if we could host a seminarian for the summer. All of the regularly scheduled summer assignments outside of the diocese, such as Spanish Language Intensive in Guatemala and Summer Spirituality course in the U.S. were canceled. I told him that it would be our pleasure to host three, since the diocese is “scrambling” to find summer assignments within the diocese. They will be here at St. Brendan from Monday 1 June until Friday 24 July. As much as possible they will become involved in the faith life of our parish, as well as getting to know our parishioners!
